Configuring Invoice Print Settings

Customise how your invoices look, behave, and print — from numbering to layout and branding.

🧭 Step 1: Access Invoice Print Settings

  • From your dashboard, go to System Settings
  • Click into the Invoice Print Settings section — this controls layout, numbering, and display logic for invoices

🔢 Step 2: Set Numbering Format

Field Example Purpose
Prefix #INVO Adds a custom prefix to all invoice numbers
Starting Number 1 Sets the initial invoice count (e.g. #INVO00001)

Tip: Use a prefix that reflects your sector, region, or fiscal year (e.g. #INV-UK25)

📄 Step 3: Add Footer Details

Field Example Purpose
Footer Title Payment Terms Appears at the bottom of printed invoices
Footer Notes Payment due within 14 days Adds custom notes or disclaimers

Tip: Use footer notes to reinforce payment discipline and legal clarity

🚚 Step 4: Toggle Display Options

Option Purpose
Shipping Display? Show/hide shipping address block
QR Display? Add a QR code to the invoice for quick access or verification

Tip: Use QR codes for mobile scanning or linking to digital invoice copies

🧩 Step 5: Choose a Template

  • Select a layout from the Template dropdown
    • Example: London
  • Preview updates instantly on the right-hand side

🎨 Step 6: Customise Colours

  • Pick from preset colour swatches to match your brand
  • Affects headers, highlights, and layout accents

💾 Step 7: Save Changes

  • Click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom right
  • Your updates will apply to all future invoices
