Mark Attendance in HRM

Record employee attendance manually — including clock-in, clock-out, and time-based metrics for compliance and payroll alignment.

🔐 Access Control

  • Only Admin users or HR staff with attendance permissions can mark attendance
  • Attendance can be recorded as Daily or Monthly, depending on your workflow

🧭 Step-by-Step: Mark Attendance

1️⃣ Navigate to Attendance

  • From the Dashboard, use the side menu: HRM → Attendance → Mark Attendance

2️⃣ Select Attendance Type and Filters

  • At the top of the Manage Attendance List screen:
    • Type: Choose Daily or Monthly
    • Month: Select the relevant month (e.g. November 2025)
    • Branch: Choose the location (or leave as All)
    • Department: Choose the team (or leave as All)

3️⃣ Click Create

  • Click the ➕ Create button in the top-right corner
  • This opens the Create Attendance form

4️⃣ Fill in Attendance Details

  • Employee*: Select the employee from the dropdown
  • Date*: Confirm or change the attendance date
  • Clock In*: Enter the start time (e.g. 09:00)
  • Clock Out*: Enter the end time (e.g. 17:00)
  • Click Create to save the record

✅ The system will automatically calculate:

  • Late arrival
  • Early leaving
  • Overtime
  • Leave status (if applicable)

✅ Best Practices

  • Use Monthly view for batch attendance tracking
  • Use Daily view for real-time or manual corrections
  • Always confirm time zones and shift patterns before marking attendance
  • Export attendance logs for payroll or audit using the PDF, Excel, or Print buttons
  • Use the Search bar to locate specific employees or dates
