Create & Import Projects
Add new projects manually or import them in bulk — with clear naming, user assignment, and description logic for operational clarity.
🔐 Access Control
- Only Admin users or staff with project permissions can create or import projects
- From the Dashboard, use the side menu to navigate: Projects → Project
🧭 Step-by-Step: Create a Project
Click Add Project to open the creation form.
1️⃣ Enter Project Details
- Name*: Enter a clear, descriptive project name (e.g.
Care Home Renovation,Cleaning Contract Q4) - Users: Select one or more team members responsible for the project
- Description*: Add context, goals, or client references
2️⃣ Finalise
- Click Create to save the project
- The new project will appear in the Manage Projects list, categorised by status:
Ongoing,Finished,OnHold
📥 Step-by-Step: Import Projects via CSV
Click the Import button to open the upload panel.
1️⃣ Download Sample CSV
- Click Download Sample Project CSV File to view required format
- Each row should include:
- Project Name
- Assigned Users
- Description
- Optional: Start/End Dates, Status
2️⃣ Upload Your File
- Click Choose File and select your prepared CSV
- Click Upload to import all listed projects
Imported projects will appear in the dashboard with assigned users and descriptions.

- Use consistent naming for easy search and reporting
- Assign users during creation to avoid orphaned projects
- Include descriptions that clarify scope, client, or deliverables
- Use import for onboarding multiple projects at once
- Review imported projects for accuracy and status alignment
