View & Download Profit & Loss Summary

Review quarterly income and expenses to calculate net profit — with exportable summaries for financial planning, reporting, and compliance.

🔐 Access Control

• Only Admin users or staff with report permissions can access profit & loss summaries
• From the Dashboard, use the side menu to navigate: Accounting → Report → Profit & Loss

🧭 Step-by-Step: View Profit & Loss Summary

1️⃣ Apply Filters

Use the filter panel to define your report scope:

• Year: Select the reporting year (e.g. 2025)
• Click the Search icon to generate the report

2️⃣ Review Report Table

The report will display:

• Income Section
  • Categories: Revenue, Invoice
  • Quarterly breakdown: JAN–MAR, APR–JUN, JUL–SEP, OCT–DEC
  • Total income = Revenue + Invoice
• Expense Section
  • Categories: Payment, Bill, Purchase, Employee Salary
  • Quarterly breakdown
  • Total expense = Sum of all expense categories
• Net Profit Section
  • Net Profit = Total Income − Total Expense
  • Displayed per quarter and as a yearly total

Use this summary to assess profitability trends and operational efficiency.

📥 Download the Report

• Locate the Download button at the top right of the report panel
• Click to export the report in your preferred format (e.g. PDF)
• The exported file will include:
  • Quarterly breakdown of income, expenses, and profit
  • Filter criteria and reporting duration
  • Category-level financial insights
