View & Download Income vs Expense Summary

Compare monthly income and expenses across categories, customers, and vendors — with visual profit trends and exportable summaries for financial planning and reporting.

🔐 Access Control

• Only Admin users or staff with report permissions can access income vs expense summaries
• From the Dashboard, use the side menu to navigate: Accounting → Report → Income vs Expense

🧭 Step-by-Step: View Income vs Expense Summary

1️⃣ Apply Filters

Use the filter panel to define your report scope:

• Year: Select the reporting year (e.g. 2025)
• Category: Choose a specific financial category or select All Categories
• Customer: Filter income by customer
• Vendor: Filter expenses by vendor

Click the Search icon to generate the report.

2️⃣ Review Graph & Table

The report will display:

• A monthly profit graph showing net income trends from January to December
• A summary table with columns for each month and rows for:
  • Income: Revenue, Invoice
  • Expense: Payment, Bill, Purchase, Employee Salary
  • Profit = Income − Expense

Use the graph to identify profitable months, seasonal dips, or cost-heavy periods.

📥 Download the Report

• Locate the Download button at the top right of the report panel
• Click to export the report in your preferred format (e.g. PDF)
• The exported file will include:
  • Monthly breakdown of income, expenses, and profit
  • Filter criteria and reporting duration
  • Category, customer, and vendor-level insights
