Transfer Funds Between Accounts
Move funds securely between internal accounts — with full control over source, destination, reference, and ledger visibility.
🔐 Access Control
- Only Admin users or staff with transfer permissions can initiate fund transfers
- From the Dashboard, use the side menu to navigate: Accounting → Banking → Transfer
🧭 Step-by-Step: Create a Bank Transfer
Click + Create to open the transfer form.
1️⃣ Source & Destination
- From Type*: Select the source account type (e.g.
Bank,Wallet) - From Account*: Choose the account to debit
- To Type*: Select the destination account type
- To Account*: Choose the account to credit
2️⃣ Transfer Details
- Amount*: Enter the transfer amount
- Date*: Select the transaction date (defaults to today)
- Reference: Optional — add a transaction ID or internal reference
- Description: Optional — add notes for audit or reconciliation
Click Create to finalise the transfer. The system will:
- Debit the From Account
- Credit the To Account
- Log the transaction in your ledger and transfer history
📋 Viewing Transfer History
- All transfers are listed in the Bank Balance Transfer table
- Use filters for Date, From Account, or To Account
- Export transfer logs in CSV, Excel, PDF, or Print format for audit or reporting

- Always verify account balances before initiating a transfer
- Use clear references and descriptions for audit clarity
- Match transfer dates to actual bank movement for reconciliation
- Avoid transferring between accounts with mismatched currencies unless supported
- Review transfer logs monthly for accuracy and compliance
- Use sector-fit naming (e.g.
