Configuring HRM Settings
Set employee prefixes, working hours, and access controls to align your HR module with operational discipline.
🧭 Step 1: Access HRM Settings
- From your dashboard, go to System Settings
- Click into the HRM Settings section — this controls employee ID logic, working hours, and access restrictions
🔢 Step 2: Set Employee Prefix
| Field | Example | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Employee Prefix | #EMP |
Prepends all employee IDs (e.g. #EMP0001) |
Tip: Use a prefix that reflects your sector or region (e.g. #STAFF-UK for care homes)
🕒 Step 3: Define Company Working Hours
| Field | Example | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Start Time | 09:00 AM |
Sets the beginning of the workday |
| End Time | 06:00 PM |
Sets the end of the workday |
Tip: These hours affect attendance tracking, shift logic, and HR reports
🔐 Step 4: Enable IP Restriction (Optional)
- Toggle IP Restrict to limit employee access to approved networks
- Useful for compliance, remote work policies, or location-based access control
Tip: Only enable if you’ve configured IP ranges in your infrastructure
📄 Step 5: Manage HR Documents
- This section also governs templates for:
- Joining Letter
- Experience Certificate
- No Objection Certificate (NOC)
Tip: Keep templates sector-neutral and legally sound — especially for regulated industries
💾 Step 6: Save Changes
- Click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom right
- Your updates will apply instantly across the HR module
✅ Best Practices
- Use consistent prefixes for audit clarity
- Align working hours with shift schedules and attendance logic
- Enable IP restriction only if the infrastructure supports it
- Review HR document templates annually for legal compliance
